Friday nights 6:15–9:00 pm
As stated in Hebrews 6:19, the Anchor of our souls is our hope in Christ. As we look around our world today, “Hope” is defined as simply a feeling that's housed in a doubt-based attitude. The truth is that our hope is firm and secure already because of the truth in Jesus and the promises of God. Our hope anchors us during the stormy seasons of life. We have been given an anchor for the soul, a lasting hope both steadfast and unshakable. All else is fleeting and changing, but Jesus remains the same (Hebrews 13:8).
As we meet together as high school students and as life begins to tilt our world upside down, where do we turn? Whom do we look towards? Where do we find that anchor? Our hope at Bethany is to show students the answers to those questions and even more, to allow a safe place for all to meet God, and create an unshakeable, life-withstanding foundation.

Verse: “For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
